Game Review: Portal 2

Hiya, everybody!

Today I will be reviewing one of my favorite games and is considered by many to be one of the best games of the generation! This game was highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, even more than it's predecessor! What game am I talking about? Why, its Portal 2, my friends!
Portal 2 takes place a few years after Portal, with Chell frozen in her cryo chamber. A little robot named Wheatley wakes her up, because the entire facility was falling apart! They eventually get seperated and Chell has to navigate the ruins of the test chambers of Aperture Science. However, something awful happened, Wheatley accidentally brought GLaDOS back from the dead! GLaDOS is more vengeful than ever, and subjects Chell to more horrible tests. Will Chell and Wheatley find a way to destroy GLaDOS again, or will Chell be doomed to test for the rest of her short life? Play Portal 2 to find out!
Wow! What a great game! I mean, the first one was good, but THIS, THIS is GOLD!!!!!! The gameplay and new game mechanics are great, the voice acting is top-notch, the story is excellent (3 stories, actually! One for the main story, one for multiplayer, and one for the community test chambers! All 3 stories fit together PERFECTLY!), the music was awesome, the characters are all likeable, and the humour was really funny! There are so many Easter Eggs in this game so it has lots of replay value to go back and find them all! This is the best game I have ever played! Now, this game I would probably recommend for ages 9 and up. There is no blood in this game, but there is a tiny bit of swearing in it. Nothing too bad, just damn and hell. This game is excellent! Go and play it NOW!!!!!!!!!! However, before you play this game, read the Portal 2: Lab Rat web comic because it explains some very important elements in the game. There is a link to it in-game and you can read it on the Portal 2 website. The soundtrack is also available as a free download there! Overall, this game gets a 5 out of 5 stars!!!! This is a must-play for any gamer of any kind! You will not regret it!

Have you played Portal 2? What did you think of it? Tell me in the comments!

Game Review: Minecraft

Hello, and welcome to my next review. Today I will be talking about the most successful indie game of ALL TIME!!! It became so successful, that is soon migrated from PC, to Xbox, Playstation and iPhone! Basically everyone I know has heard of or plays this game. Of course, I am talking about none other than MINECRAFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Minecraft is a first-person open-sandbox game created by the Swedish man Markus Persson, A.K.A. Notch, and his video game company, Mojang. In Minecraft, you play as Steve, a block man who woke up in this strange world of cubes and pixels. In Survival mode, he must learn to survive. He must build a house, collect resources, craft tools, eat food, kill animals, battle monsters, and MUCH MUCH MORE!!!!!!!! Or, in Creative mode, Steve must go crazy and build whatever he wants! Eventually, you can travel to other realms, such as the Nether or, The End, the lair of the Endermen and the ferocious Enderdragon!  Sometimes, you will find a village filled with the friendly Villagers, who like to trade emeralds with you. If you want infinite building space or the ultimate survival challenge, go on superflat mode! If you want to play with other people, hop onto a multiplayer server! And, if you are lucky, you may just run in to the mythical Herobrine.....
This is an AWESOME GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't really have a storyline, so you can play it over and over again differently every time! My brother especially loves Creative mode in this game because he likes to build with LEGO, and Creative mode is basically LEGO. I have never been in to LEGO much, so I like Survival mode. My brother loves to go on Multiplayer servers, I'm more of a Singleplayer guy. You can play this game however you want! There is no right or wrong way! Now, I would not recommend this game for young children because the game is quite complex and difficult and the Night Time, when the monsters come out, can get kinda intense. If you are a fan of LEGO, you will like this game! If you don't like LEGO, you will like this game! This is a game that anyone can play and enjoy. Although, the iPhone version and console ports are pretty crappy. Now, this game isn't completed yet. It is constantly being updated and new content is constantly being added! A new game in the series is even being released, Minecraft 2.0!!!!! If you are a hardcore fan, You could go to Minecon, a HUGE Minecraft convention! It is in Orlando, Florida this year. (Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, AND Minecon!?!? I must be dreaming!) All the Minecraft YouTubers go, PewDiePie, Tobuscus, TryHardNinja, CaptainSparklez, The Yogscast, SkyDoesMinecraft, and many MANY MORE!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I highly recommend this game! 5/5 stars! Good work! Oh, and one more thing, watch out for Herobrine!

To be continued!

Game Review: SLENDER: The Eight Pages PART 2 of 2: The Game

Hello again! I will now be reviewing Slender: The Eight Pages.
Slender: The Eight Pages is an indie first-person horror game released in 2012. It was followed in 2013 by a new game called Slender: The Arrival. I haven't played The Arrival yet. There are also TONS of fan-made Slender games like Slender: Sanatorium, Hospice, Elementary, Woods, Prison, Claustrophobia, 7th Street, Rising, Mansion, and many many more!!! In The Eight Pages, you play as an undefined character that you don't even see, alone in a forest at night. Your character has to collect  8 pieces of paper left by Slender Man to win the game. Sound simple? Anything but! Once you collect the first page, the hunt is on, and you have to be very careful not to get caught by the Slender Man. If you do get caught, the game is over.
This was a FUN GAME!!!!! Sure, it scared my pants off the first time I played it, (I played it alone and at night!!!), but the suspense and jump scares make the game fun! It is fun to be scared! I would recommend the game to ages 12 and up because it might be a bit much for younger children. If you want to play Slender: The Eight Pages, it is a FREE DOWNLOAD!!!!!!! I'll put a link here if you want to try it for yourself: http://www.parsecproductions.net/slender/. Slender: The Arrival costs money, so I'll play it in a few years because it is quite a bit more violent and scary. I watched PewDiePie play it and I knew. Also, it is only for Windows and I own a Mac. It is coming out for the Playstation Store and X-Box Arcade, so I'll just have to wait until then. Apparently you play as a girl in the second Slender game. I would give this game 4 out of 5 stars!!!!! Scary, but FUN!!!!!!!

Have you played Slender: The Eight Pages? What did you think of it? Tell me on the comments!

Game Review: SLENDER: The Eight Pages PART 1 of 2: Slender Man 101

Hello! Today, I will be reviewing one of the scariest games I've ever played, Slender: The Eight Pages!
Now, before I get to the review, I'm going to tell you a little bit about the Slender Man because Slender Man is the main focal point of the Slender games, and it can be useful to know what the heck Slender Man is before you play. Now, this may be disturbing to some readers, so don't read this alone, and don't read it at night, okay? Good. Here we go.
Slender Man is a Mythical Creature. Well, actually no. It started out as a creepy pasta (Creepy Internet story) on the Something Awful Forums with a photoshopped picture of the Slender Man with a bunch of children. The photoshopped picture won a paranormal photoshop contest. The picture and story even inspired 2 Minecraft characters, the Enderman and Herobrine! The good people at Parsec productions made a game based on the creepy pasta. A lot of people have claimed to have seen him or took pictures of him, but all those photos are fakes. A lot of people think that Slender Man is real, but I am not one of them. He's just made up for fun. Anyway, back to the description. He is tall and thin. He has a totally blank, white face with no features. He wears a black suit and tie. (Start singing Justin Timberlake's song Suit and Tie now!) He also has 8 tentacles coming out of his back that he can extend and retract at will. His limbs can also stretch. He preys on children. He terrifies them and takes them away, it is unknown where he takes them. He can make his weak prey go insane. He appears to them at short bursts at a time, increasing their paranoia. The more paranoid his prey is, the more he appears, and eventually steals them away. Some other names for this creature are the Tall Man, the Branchman, and Satan's Gentleman. (I'ma Motto Foddo Gentleman!) He can teleport at will, and can float slightly above the ground. He makes no noise. He can't even speak. He has been on earth since the beginning of time. He is not afraid to go out during the day, he lives in the forest. He blends in with the trees. (So much for your summer camping trip plans!). He is scary.

What the heck is this!?!?!?!? Creepy, huh? Good old fashioned nightmare fuel! Don't say I didn't warn you this was scary! I think I'm going to sign off now. I'll do the Eight Pages review soon.

WATCH OUT FOR HIM!!!! HE'S WATCHING!!!!!!!!!! (not)

Game Review: Portal

Hello gamers! Today I will be reviewing a game that I just finished playing about 2 weeks ago, Portal!!
Portal was a game released in 2007 in the game The Orange Box, which included the games Half Life 2: Episodes 1 and 2 and Team Fortress 2 as well as Portal. It was created by VALVE, a video game company. It became a very popular and viral game, so popular that it was followed in 2011 by Portal 2, which I have also played and completed. In Portal, you play as a test subject named Chell. She is an orphan, and she works in a scientific research facility called Aperture Science. Unfortunately, Aperture Science is ruled by an Evil Robot named GLaDOS (Genetic Life form and Disc Operating System) who tells you that you must complete various puzzles using the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device (Or Portal Gun, hence the title of the game.) to get to her (And to get your cake!). Now, the Portal Gun isn't a regular gun, it shoots Portals! 2 portals at a time, an Orange one and a Blue one to solve the puzzles which would be impossible without the gun. Anyway, at the end of the very last test chamber, Chell don't listen to GLaDOS' orders to stay put, no, she decided to try and find GLaDOS and destroy her once and for all!
GLaDOS!!!!!!!
Portal was a great game, it was very Mentally Stimulating and very exciting. It also had an AWESOME song at the end of the game, Still Alive, preformed by GLaDOS herself! While the game is great, I would recommend it for ages 9 and up because it does have a little bit of blood in it and the game is very difficult. GLaDOS' voice did get a little bit annoying in the game, but, WHO CARES!!?? This game was excellent! I would give it 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!! If you want to play it, it is ten bucks on Steam (The online video game store that VALVE owns and runs) , but you could also buy it in a bundle on Steam that includes Portal and Portal 2 for only 25 dollars! Very good game! And remember, The Cake is a LIE!!!!!

Have you played Portal? What did you think of it? Tell me in the Comments!

Portal 2 review coming soon!
